Bright10 launches a free audit that shows businesses whether AI search recommends them

SOMERSET WEST, SOUTH AFRICA — 10 July 2026 — Bright10, a web design and branding studio based in Somerset West, has launched a free website audit that measures something most South African businesses have never checked: whether AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews — can find, trust and recommend them.

Search is splitting in two. Customers still use Google, but a growing share now ask an AI a question and read a single synthesised answer that names only a handful of businesses. A company invisible to those engines is left out of the conversation entirely — usually without knowing it.

Bright10's audit reads a live website the way an answer engine does. It checks the homepage and up to three key pages, scores the site out of 100 across four areas — search visibility, speed, content depth and the structured-data signals AI models rely on — and emails a plain-English report. There is no charge and no obligation.

"Most owners assume that if they rank on Google, they're covered — and that's no longer true," said Andrew Taylor, founder of Bright10. "The businesses that win the next few years are the ones an AI can confidently recommend, and most can't currently see whether they qualify. This shows them, for free."
